Retrievable rigging sling

Been looking at the Honey Brothers one and thinking of getting one as an alternative for a redirect pulley and on it's own for light rigging applications as an alternative to a swing cheek pulley. Does anyone else do this or see an issue with it?

We like the shizl one but think ours is 12 mm

Use something similar which I made with Xrings as a redirecte or just a single ring as a split tail tied on depending on angle the rope is working at.

x ring cambium savers are awesome. Can be set and retrieved from the ground with a throwline. Its a double win because you can retrieve them in the tree when used as a redirect from your main block too. I use mine a fair bit.
