Ok, i have tried in the past to try and drum up interest in chain sharpening with limited success, but thought anyone who is struggling with the basics might find this helpful.

Please note this is the Stihl version, and everyone has slight differences in opinion, but there are some useful bits of advice on here;

You may want to increase size to 100% for easier reading.

Just a quick one, saw on the title picture that the hand was atired with a pair of shihl pig skin gloves, worst thing i have ever bought in my life. Ok in dry like having lub overed hands in the wet. Just my thoughts lol/.

does anyone get on with them husky filing roller type thing i can never work out how you put it on the chain any help there???

There are arrows in the bottom of the guide that should point forward when is put on right, the best guide out there if you use husky or oregon chain :)

And the gudie should have a backward slope when it sits on the bar/chain.

hope it helps a little.
