Just seen this thread (thanks to all by the way for the endorsement :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Did yee get yourself a Sugi in the end? The pro solid bars in 15" .325 .058 are not in for a few weeks yet...

We have got these in the pro lam..... and we have them coming in the light type pro...

 

 

 

 

Should be a couple of weeks away or thereabouts!

You need to run the bar and chain that was supplied with the saw and make up your own mind before you just right it off, not listen to other peoples opinions.

Chain sharpness is the key then any set up feels good! But prob .325 .058 - standard set up would work best. I've tried playing around with lower pro type set ups but really these only work better when looking at putting a longer bar on a smaller saw.
