I've been in the industry for 6 years now self employed as a sub contractor, I'm very experienced in all aspects and can also do fencing/landscaping, have my cs30/31 and cs 38/39. What would you say a fair day rate would be???

Using your own saws? & fuel?

Fast, efficient, safe & someone who cracks on without winging (& doesn't mince out when it rains)?

8hr day or until the job is done?

Commuting far?

Depends on how good you are and your reputation locally. The better the rep you have the more you will be in demand and the wage will increase. If you have all your own kit and fuel/saws id say 120 ish a day but you dont have cs 41 dismantling and rigging so maybe 100 notes for an 8 hr day.

You need all your own kit if you are subbing properly, to be employable that it is.

Same yard every day you can do for 3 months only, before you (& your 'boss') incur the wrath of hmrc

Groundie 90 / Climber 120 as you are now & with your own gear /fuel Groundie 100-120 / Climber 130-150 a day for brum (I used to work in Worcestershire)
