It'll take some civil servant 5-10 minutes to leave it on a laptop in the back of a taxi. Then god knows.

Given the DVLA already sell information that your forced to give them (if you drive) how long will it be before there selling off the information on the id to fill the black hole?

Yeah I saw a survey showing reform voters in support.
Create a problem offer a solution. Blair will be overjoyed.

S.L. Kanthan on X: "Problem-Reaction-Solution David Icke figured this out long time ago. Too bad, most of his videos are now banned on YouTube. https://t.co/HzLJs6gjEe" / X

^David Icke. 25 years ago. So put that in your tinfoil hat and smoke it.

I'm not suggesting you have a tinfoil hat, by the way. I am 100% against mandatory ID cards too.

I'm just saying that the games that those in power play, don't change.

Not that it matters, if you have a driving license, or a passport, they have your face on file.

ID cards are still needed in Germany.

And armed forces, some places of work too, and that's to stop those who have no right to enter...hey wait a minute!

Sounds like a plan.

I see that Two Tier is going to introduce compulsory ID cards in the near future to stop illegal immigration and workers etc. What a joke, they haven't the stones to do this!

"This to be in place by the end of the decade" Wow. This lot work really fast. Sounds like "let's pass this hot potato to the next lot". Or, "unless we tax everyone even more to hide this statement,  the voters will forget another promise we cannot make!"

So all of us who live here legally already with NI numbers and multiple forms of Verifiable ID, being mandated to carry digital identification will stop those crossing the channel “illegally”   🤔🤔

Care to explain how you see this actually working.

OK easier to access and get better care. All of your medical history can be accessed quickly when you need treatment. As it is now its garbage. Digital ID will help with that.

What do you think the downsides of digital ID are?

I seem to remember, not that long ago, an unbelievable amount of tax payers money being wasted on a Covid track and trace system that never worked.

I have serious doubts that they could even manage this idea, even if everyone wanted it.
If only there was a way to coherence people into having one, just like the Covid jabs, if only the was an ‘invasion’ of some sort that could be stopped, but allowed to continue, that might help push it over the line.

You are supposed to have an NI number to work in the UK. It's hardly likely that if the people who get the illegal immigrants jobs are going to be checking ID's.

Is that what I said? (Rhetorical question)
