I haven't used the tr8 but I have used the tr6's both tracked & tow. I would choose the forst over jensen every time, well built & for the hours they had both done performed like new. Even though I found their sales hunger a bit ott! give lyle a ring & get one on demo.

So you would say a forst is better built than a Jensen?? [emoji30]

I did contact lyle and asked about finance for a new one etc then ended up with orange plant chasing me up about a forst tr8... I thought i would just be dealing with redwood.

Havent done anything as of yet. Spotted a nice 540t for sale

Told them straight at the show I would not go through orange plant for anything to do with my forst as the deal at the time of purchase was no middle men and deal direct and that'll stand till the day I sell it!

We run FORST. 1 TR6...ST6 and 2 TR8's ...i have used all four over a year now and they have not missed a beat and we are very productive when it comes to tree work and clearance work

I know of a tr6 with just under 1200 hours that has just had its fourth ignition black box, three of them under warranty. I imagine they aren't made by forst so can't really be blamed but around £300 a pop it could become annoying. Apart from that they're the best chippers I've ever used... I'm Tempted to accept their trial machine but don't think I could stop myself signing the credit agreement!
