Aye I'll do 3-5 mins with not taking finger off throttle flat out and buried in the wood... That will reset the 550 560 and 540 ... Not the 576 though , that needs to go in to the dealers to be reset.

Also make sure the chain is spot on whilst doing this.

Just had the exhaust off and piston looks to have no scoring on it, while it was off I realised it's pretty restrictive, wondering if a mod might open it up a bit?

Going to get a filter ordered today for it.

Good news ! Hopefully a new filter and reset will sort it , can try and get some pics up later of a modded 550 exhaust for you , it's pretty simple but crude , I don't run it on my personal 550 as I think it's fine standard as long as it's kept sharp.

Thank you sir.

I have seen people putting another hole next to the stock one under the deflector, the saws out of warranty now so figured it couldn't hurt??

Always run Sugi bar and full chis which gets a touch up as soon as its lost the corners.

Need a new sprocket soon aswell so that could help a little.

These look like they have been added or enlarged to give more flow from the exhaust ? ImageUploadedByArbtalk1465406598.149570.jpg.b53b3674469fbe4ce07d9489b3456cd7.jpg

The outlet definitely has ! ImageUploadedByArbtalk1465406835.051757.jpg.28039e8510180e339d99b936e5ec5d69.jpg

My misses saw definitely has a bit more poke to it , just a quickie for aspen fans this is a very new piston about 14 tanks of aspen , looks a lot of carbon build up to me.

You have very smooth hands. Do you moisturise?
