I think he was taking the fish with 40mm. Either that or missed a decimal point.... 4.0mm :laugh1:

Had a brief try of one and it was OK, but not half as comfy as the old type ones. It might just be me being resistant to change as I've used the old type for about 15 years now.

 

One thing I didn't like with the technical was how flimsy it feels to hold - you can squish it sideways really easily between your hands.

If you do that it could compromise the integrity of the lid . You get a 4inch dia stick hit you on the sweed you want it to bounce off not cave your lid in !

 

 

Good ventilation of the groundcrew's helmets, so that they can keep working fast, is far important than their safety.

Yep of course , goes without saying . If you can get them to go lidless with flipflops all the better :biggrin:

Yes but you have to waste money on duct tape to secure the flipflops so they don't fall off when running back from the chipper!
