if the slave gone you normally get a leak - running into the cab, any puddles of clutch fluid under the clutch pedal?

starnge that its a funny colour tho.

 

Not that i've noticed but when it rains i've got an indoor swimming pool:biggrin: that comes from the front window seal tho.

think you mean the master cylinder. the slave is bolted to the bell housing. if the slave is leaking it often runs into the bell housing:001_smile:

 

the pedel tends to go solid if theres a fault with the main clutch mechanisim as the slave plunger moves out till it gets to the circlip.
