Shrekkie, I've been watching the weather round your end and you've had a really rough ride the last month or so

We had a Foot and a half of Rain last month.It started to Rain mid June and we have had no days without measurable precipiation since.

it doesnt bother me so much anymore mike because i dont have to do much in a week to make ends meet now thankfully. i still have hedges from august still needing done that i cant get to because of the weather. i am not doing them because they are fixed prices and if i do them in the wet then they will take 3 times as long to do, and for the first time the wind is really making a diference aswell on some of my jobs recently. tall leggy coppice beside buildings on bankings, and they are ash, hopefully after the last few days the leaf and severed ivy will be mostly gone

Passed this fallen tree that had completely blocked the road I asked the police if they needed assisatnce but said someone was on there way, managed to go shopping and do a few other jobs by the time I came back here was still no one attending!

I got called out on saturday to go driven grouse shooting.

 

Because one of the regulars hadn't liked the look of the adverse weather forecast.

 

Nice start to my season.
