Just had a call out to a veteran Ash I have deadwooded over the years, has some big cavities from previous storms but has surcumbed to this storm and will be left as a monolith on tuesday.

My foot gives some idea of scale with stones grown into the trunk just above my toe

I couldn't stand up in the drive earlier on it was horrendous, I just drove down to my yard and there's a top out on one of the oaks down there.

The road down to my yard looks like a war zone with all the leaves and deadwood on it.

there's a big tree down across wetherby road at oakwood near me. This is a main bus route, saw the bus driver on his mobile to head office, i think, to report it as there was no way he was getting through.
