A little bit of help please, whoever has a fender strat, could you please tell me let me know the thickness of the body please as there are a few variations. Also could I have a front/side and back view.

Thanks in advance, Ian

44 - 45 mm on a genuine Strat . I have a few and they are in one piece swamp ash or one piece north American Alder . All around the 45mm mark .

Cheers, is the insert going down the back neck to get to the truss rod. Are all strats like that.

The inset or Skunk stripe is to cover were the truss rod has been inserted on one piece maple necks . On rose wood capped necks it is put in from the fret board side .
