Stale milk smell in my truck .

Ok . Thanks everyone for all your suggestions . Being to bone idle to remove the seat and work on it I just sprayed it with " Fabreeze " every day and now its gone ! Shazam !

Its probably just taken untill now for if to dry out completely and the bacteria to die off, lets hope the smell does not return in the damp of the winter.

 

Years ago we had a problem with rats, I trapped many and then put down poison, one must have died under the upstairs floor, the smell was appalling for about three week, I presume this is how long it took for the body to dry out and mummify.
