Kestrel stops processing

A pair of kestrels have just set up home 15 feet away from my processor. This would normally not be a problem and I would just move the processor elsewhere, but I have just built a new shed and set everything up for maximum efficiency!.... sigh.

Anyone had experience of Kestrels being near machinery and are they tolerant of noise?

Not quite the same but I had some small birds, starlings maybe but I never saw the mother properly, nest on top of the wall about 3ft from where the logs came out the conveyor and hit it i watched them grow for a few weeks, even gave them a worm and watched as they grew feathers. Eventually they started to try and fly and that was the morning my cat killed the lot. I wasn't happy with the cat...

Anyway my theories always been that birds wouldn't nest there if they didn't like it,cats aside.

I have had birds nest both in the cab and on top of the injector pump of a tractor , also in a coiled up rope hanging in a shed . I am currently buying 4 acres of woodland and will complete within a few weeks , however in the meantime a goshawk has nested in there and as a consequence I will not be allowed on my land at all ( even on foot ) until early July ... I have never heard of this situation before ....

I have a blackbird nesting above the battery in my old jcb 3. was supposed to be taking it to a show this weekend but wont be moving it.

2 years ago they did the same and I put a photo on facebook then the local paper picked up on it and did a story on it, we got a free plug for our business.
