Been climbing with one of these duralocks as a anchor crab for srt retrievable anchors for a good few months now and really like them.

I'm staying a DMM customer. My first DMM was twenty five years ago. You're right about them needing more TLC but in my opinion they worth it.

IME all of my carabiners are equally unreliable. Considering the amount of dirt that I don't clean out of them its a wonder that any of them work at all.:laugh1:

 

However, because all my biners function badly, I am constantly reminded to check them every time I open/close them! :lol:

 

It's this slack approach to an extremely important issue that keeps me alive. :thumbup1:
