I have been checking them out on line they all seem to me not that dissimilar, could someone enlighten me or is alot of it down to personal preference,,

I use (many others aswell) the Zubat nice curved blade also have Big Boy on stand by. BTW they all are completely different saws lol.

How does the curve effect cutting? Im gessing it would be faster am i correct,, i understand that there all different otherwise there wouldent be so many i just wondered how these differences effect usage,

How long do the blades last with general use?

I prefer the streight edged ones as I often do little directional felling cuts when reducing if the limbs are a little too large to hand hold.:thumbup1:

I use a Zubat 330, the knob on the end of the blade ( no, the other end !) stops it from pulling out of the cut - perfect for when you're using it at an awkward angle. I don't climb though, so can't comment on how useful it is for that.
