looking for a cheap concrete saw and was considering a parts or repair job from ebay, does anyone have one or have experience of working on them? I've rebuilt a number of chainsaws so have enough mechanical experience but is it easy to get parts for them? thanks

By concrete saw you mean a power cutter? if so the Husqvarna K760 12" is a good machine, all parts are readily available at reasonable prices, always remember these machines work in a very dirty dusty enviroment, so if the filters have not been maintained and concrete dust has entered the engine it will quickly take out the cylinder, crank and bearings, avoid the K650, poor spares availability and pricey.

The old Stihl TS350 mushroom filter type saws are plentiful still and many moons ago I picked one up from a skip , threw a pot & piston in from GHS supplies of flea bay and bingo runs a dream .

Unfortunately most Concrete saws are owned and operated by Brainless Baboons (Builders) who's maintenance skills are that of a flea, there idea of fuel mix is horrifying......so most saws have to say had a Hard and Brutal life .
