Predator 360SW brake modification

Any owners of the Predator 360SW or in fact any other grinders with the same brake problems come up with a better system? Getting pretty bored of it being terrible at holding the wheels. Make the cable tight and it just snaps. I was thinking of putting a thicker cable on but need to have a bigger diameter black sheath thing but cant find anything suitable. Any help will be much appreciated :001_smile:

Anyone know where I can get a length of round spiral wire? Thinking of getting a larger diameter spiral so I can put in a thicker length of cable. Hopefuly then it wont snap so easily....... Cant find anybody that sells them on the internet.:confused1:

Shame about the brakes on what's otherwise a cracking little grinder.

I've resigned myself to having to replace a broken cable two or three times a year and so aways order a spare.

I've thought about trying to adapt it to a disc brake but as the swing action goings from tyre to tyre, it will be very difficult.
