There is no one cut for any job, it depends on the situation, the timber and tree species the location and targets wheart there is a rope as pull or a rig... to that end I have never stoped learning trying and expermenting with cuts to make the bits of tree do what I want them too.

 

This cut is really for branch removal with wait in the equation, to avoid the snatched saw we have all had at some point.

 

Horse for courses Boys and Girls, expirance is a big tool box, so have a pock about in other peoples, thats where I have found out all sorts of little gems tricks and tips.

 

Any way I was searching for some thing else these here forums and yet again been drawn in by all this wittering.... Later
