I'm thinking of buying a new Stihl saw for 15" or less woodland felling and am torn between the MS260 and the 341 - all seems to point firmly in the 341's favour, but do you reckon that the fuel consumption is going to be drastically different ,just thinking of the long trudge back to the cans !

The 341 is a bit of a white elephant i reckon. The 361 is the same weight but loads more powerful. I have only stihl saws, including a 361(best saw ever IMO) but would consider a husky 346xp in over an 026. Maybe have a look at one of those. Light and powerful from what i can tell.

Can thoroughly recommend the 346 tommer.I was thinking of investing in another smaller saw.Thinkin 361,not sure 2 346's would be a good idea.Heard that about the 341 as well
