I just have to stack it up, my client will chip it all for biomass.

I can get hardwood pulp rates for it, but its the haulage that kills it.

 

i hope hes using one of your chipers! i spose thats why they took it for free on are job but we had nothing like that amount on your site...any way we didnt want it and they had to cover there haulage but ive never trusted timber merchants they are all sharks

I thought they shut and that was it. Possibly they need some virgin fibre to mix with the recycled material and some longn term contracts for supply are still running.

 

Looks like it was only the hardwood going to sudbrook that closed, having looked at the st Regis website.

Could be. I know the client that still sends some stuff there is one of the bigest forestry management companies in the UK. But he did say it was just a small amount compared to the good old days.

There is also a company that makes kitchen worktops (chipboard) that will still take plenty of hardwood pulp.
