Send it to Spud.

I have faith in MR Ulike, he got my MS200s sorted for me.

As the entire engine is 12 years old I suspect a lot of it is beyond cost-effective repair. There are a few items on thiefbay which may be worth considering. Just gotta spot something close enough to go and look at... OR see if any other arbtalkers find one.

Something is bound to turn up, Gromit....

Rebore, bigger piston and a turbo fitted

Weld a couple of 19mm ring spanners to the side of the con rod to strengthen it.

Drill some holes in the cutting wheel, remove the engine restrictor, duct tape the leaf-blower to the air intake and jobs a goodun.:confused1:

If it wasnt for the great advice on here this web-site would be nothing:lol::lol:

Loncin G420 replaces the GX390 , also comes with electric start as standard .

Good quality Chinese engine , Loncin is fitted by many O.E.M'S now inc BMW ! our experience with them on ALKO lawnmowers has been faultless , in my opinion are better than Honda as they do not seem to suffer from the carb issues that Hondas do .

P.m me if interested I will be happy to quote
