Hilux owners

Hi, new to this place but just thought to say - nice choice of vehicle. I had one for about 12 years. It wouldn't die and when I finally justified getting rid of it to myself (even though it was still passing each MOT with flying colours and broke down only ONCE in those 12 years), I sold it to a friend who is to this day still drives it.

 

 

 

Maybe you've seen this...

 

 

 

My choice would be 3L - 2.5 just doesn't cut it and you'll find towing (if you ever do it) a bit harder.

Or 2.5 and get it re mapped

My first Hilux (F reg) ended up looking like that one :biggrin:

The 3.0 is only available on double cabs. I have the invincible and it goes well but only has 2000 odd mile on the clock.

 

You can et the lower spec trim though in double cab. Not sure on the older models though.

 

 

Looks like my single cab conversion will be a 2.5 then
