what a joke. so they will lose all there good staff and end up with a load of unskilled idiots. you get what you pay for. bob, your probable working for less then your worth as it is! its an insult.

 

Round here most council employees are already unskilled idiots!

cheers for explaining that peter its all unfair we have a tractor and a hgv but i have been graded less than a grounds maintenaice tractor driver in fact if i went pushing a mower i would be 2 grades higher

the best one we have heard of is a manual road sweeper is graded higher than a gulley wagon driver or a hgv bin wagon driver

but hopefully will all get sorted out at appeal even the head of service is bemused and backing our appeal

 

 

Fight it to the bitter end Bob, I work for a government agency now, we went through all this over last 18 months. After 3 years in the job a folder full of tickets I was graded as a new starter!! its took me 18 months of battle but hopefully next week I'll get the grade I deserve. Good Luck with ya appeal
