Stumps/ stumpery

[24hr cutter]

I pulled out three oak stumps last week. I have cleaned them up and would love to sell them for a stumpery somewhere. Anybody know if there is any value to these. Can add photos for any one intrested

Hi there there was a Yew stump on Ebay a few years ago . I think it went for a fair penny . Mind you it was made into a table and polished up nicely .

Yew root balls command top dollar, like walnut, because of the whorls in it etc. A walnut rootball can command prices of up to 10k for the right one to daimler benz etc.

Did you know that daimler/benz employ 2 people full time whose sole job is to travel the world seeking out good walnut stock for veneer........nice job!!!

Have you seen how thin the walnut is they use for the dashboards? Its C****** wood with the thinnest tracing paper coat of walnut. Looks bleedin nice though.
