Hi Can anyone recommend a green waste site for in these areas? mainly hedge and grass clippings. or does anyone has a yard we can place a skip? I have a contract for a couple of months tidying up for a housing association.

We have just one a grounds maintenace contract in and around minehead/willliton/ watchett area. It is not tree work but a great business oppertunity for a small company to add some regular maintenance work into there business. Hi all though this would suit someone wanting a steady income as a small business. We maintain loads of utility sites across dorset. the work is a mixture of grass cutting strimming spraying and some ad-hoc hedge/ tree work. you would need a van and commercial equipment. ( not you pedestrion mower from B&Q) If you are prepared to put the work in and travell around the money is pretty good. give me a call 07713311185 or message me.

Hi looking for a small team to help me out with small ad-hoc works. will suit a 2 man team. Much of the work i do is for utilities so it is often bramble bashing and cutting back to boundary lines. Anyway it is ideal for someone that can travel round has there own kit and if you work hard theres some good money involved. there is also the option of other works such as ragwort pulling that has just been accepted. not the most exciting work but keeps us all employed let me know cheers

thanks guys some experienced views. Know where your sucsess comes from is very true. i'm happy with what i win but get fustrated with the amount of time wasted on quotes i never get. if ever i find the magic answer i will share when i retire all the best

Just calculated i win work to 34% in value of all the works i price. how does that stand with everyone else. looking to increase my workload so this is a accurate record from the last 12 months. i never do follow up calls should i start ???.

on average 15 tonnes per week. the oldest is 3 years old. if i can manage in a different way i would be prepared to invest in machinery as needed

we are a grounds and tree surgery company. all the green waste i am refering to has gone through my zago. it is a complete mixture ranging from grass clippings to hedge clippings. i am no expert in what would make good fuel and am completly open to any offer and would be pleased to see someone make use of it. i have sold our arb chip for fuel before but never the green waste. as far as moisture content i have no idea.

that's the problem. all the great recylingof green waste has flooded the market. locally i cant get for free. anyway any ideas from people greatly recieved
