Just had my Daily done. Floor was rusted out on top of a cross member. Cross members rusty, side rails rusty. Was getting to the stage where we would have gone to tip off, and the ram woukd have come through the floor!😱😳

 

New steel floor, cross members and rails. Took the guy a week and £600

Other quote I had was £2400!

Rather than using ply, I would use Stokbord, I recently lined a muck trailer in with it, tek screw it in place, job jobbed.

 

STOKBORD 2440x1220x12mm SHEET black

I have heard in the past that skokbord can distort a lot due to sun etc. So much so that it can shear the tek screws!
