And don't I know it, nothing changes, dunk it in the village pond 20 times, drag it through the local pile of cow shyte and then.....give it to Steve

On the Hutzl - rev it flat out, turn the H screw out until it sounds really flubby and turn in until your trained earreckons it sounds about right - don't use a hammer

I do have a tacho now so will try and find out what it should be and try again , thing screams but not sure if that’s the none oem exhaust.

13,500rpm Max on that saw, would try 12,000 - 12,500rpm until it is bedded in a bit and then up it to 13,000. It will speed up as the cylinder and bearings run in so keep an eye on it.
