If your wife can plait hair it's the same, Get some green sweet chestnut and peel off a layer of the bark (i find a potato pealer is the best). After that get a knife and remove the rest of the bark, Cut thin strips with knife and weave or plait- at end weave back through were you started. voila one bracelet:001_smile:

When using potato peeler the metal reacts with the wood and makes it darker, thats what gives you the two colours.

Do you think you could make a cone shaped one? about 7' high, its for growing beans and sweet peas up. If not I might be interested in some of the 2 dimensional ones if they were quite tall.
