Alaskan Alec

Had Agg221 over at the wood yesterday for a day's HEAVY duty milling. Alec hires himself out on a day rate with his Alaskan and mini mill and collection of classic saws.

We managed to beam up a sizeable Oak stem for a customer who is building a cart lodge. Alec knows exactly what he's doing and as such is very productive with little waste.

Also had the pleasure of Felix's company for three days last week. See if you can spot him tackling one of the jobs that I really didn't fancy!:001_smile:IMAG0355.jpg.8e70c023aeaed371d79eb86f65ee26de.jpg

Pleasure was all mine, Graham. I'm looking forward to the next round. I was so busy making sure I didn't either get the pole saw stuck or cop a faceful of tear out that I didn't realise you were taking pics. :001_smile:

I like to take photos of my woodland visitors.

Shame it clouded over when Mr Bullman popped in for a social.

You are not living up to your name there is a long line of idiots who have attempted to tackle such jobs, a few of them actually survived & proceeded to put the videos on youtube.

Felix is the most safety concious worker I have yet encountered, and all credit to him. I blackmailed him into that particular task by hiding his lunchbox until he had made it safe.

In all seriousness, being a forester at heart I was all ready to fell the tree it was hung up in. Felix is not of the idiot persuasion and reasoned me out of it.
