If there's only one bloke there, what happens when he needs a pee? Do you let him leave the point unattended or should he just whip it out and let fly in full view? :001_smile:

Hi chopper that not main reason for having two people there it's if the chap moving the signs gets verbally abuse as it's classed as assault all the best John

Motorists do sometimes think you are doing TM deliberately to spoil their day and anybody who has been on a set of Stop/Go boards will have at least 1 story to tell about motorists kicking off. Unfortunately, these days many people seem to think it's acceptable to shout and swear(or worse) at somebody who is actually trying to keep them safe. :001_rolleyes::thumbdown:

I tend to use the STOP even when I know it's clear.... just to get people to slow down. Otherwise drivers tend to see the GO as an excuse to put the pedal to the metal.

Some drivers are just idiots and don't even see the signs! STOP means GO to some people.

cheers, steve

Hi TED well done mate BUT we're paying for it in our Council tax 😀😀😀thanks Jon

I understand. Same problem here and even worse. I travel to a particular intersection that has 3 women directing traffic through a intersection that is signed with a Four way STOP Sign. Although these women have safety vest on and are in radio communication with one another or by yelling at one another they could at least have red or orange safety flags to help flow or stop the traffic through the intersection. No No No, can't have common sense get in the way of progress:sneaky2:. Even orange safety gloves would help, alas not with these folks. Maddening:thumbdown:
