good chainsaw bars for husqvarna t540xp?

i need a new bar for my husqvarna t540xp and was wondering what people recommend?

also for a 12" bar how many drive links should i be looking for?

Thanks for the replies do they last abit longer than the other ones also how did you work the drive links out haven't ever bought a chain for a bar i don't have

Yes they last well and I cheated... I just chose the saw and bar size on 'Chainsaw Bars'. They did the working out bit.

Most of the time the bar info will tell you how many drive links you need. I say most as it is based on a standard tooth sprocket.

okay thanks so i would either get a oragon chain or a husq to go with the bar

The oregon 91vxl is a bit more aggressive than the husky h37, although the stihl 3617 is a better chain, full chisel without the extra safety features of the 3616.

Mark I bought this saw from you guys and the rear Spring has started to go so will be ordering one from you, are they upgraded yet? Also need a chain catcher, can't see that option on your website? Is it best to call?

 

Also the chain on there atm is the Oregon one, cuts fine but does snatch a lot especially when new, the stihl chain is defo the best
