If it has a tpo its out of your hands.

Let the TO decide, then follow his instructions.

Exactly that's what I've told them I just have a horrible feeling that if an application gets rejected which I think it will then they will bypass that option with someone else doing it. I know then that's on their heads but don't want the tree ruined

I'd happily reduce that and keep it looking spot on and Bill the client to suit. Hire a 50m platform and it would make it child's play to do in a day if your not comfy climbing it.

Yeah I can see where I'd reduce it to and keep it looking good it's just me in my head finding it a bit pointless when in reality this tree is only a baby and has a lot more growing to do. I think the climbing part would be the fun bit 😃 just put a couple of days on wouldn't probably exceed the cost of a large mewp

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
