Except the Iveco ones will be BNIB and a simple swap out compared with re engineering the entire vehicle, will the drive flanges even fit, (and fitting it with used parts ?) before sending it for a SVA

Suddenly that's not the cheap option ant more

Iv been in to off roading 4x4 for 20 odd years and converted just about every 4x4 going there's nothing that can't be done in my workshop, I'd take complete front end off then cart Spring it and put my choice of axel in ( lose the IFS ) no drama, axel wise iv taken them to bits cut flipped re-welded them for 4x4x4 or rear steer, never bothered with SVA and not really to botherd about it but that's me

As Bobs just pointed out they can be repaired any way as I thought they could,

Not every one has the skills or knows some one that can do this type of stuff but there's always more then one option

I run a 4x4 40.10 as the main work van. It has been replated to 3.5t. I have done a lot of work on it over the years including extensive panel repairs. The rust does get to wheel arches and door pillars. Ours is a short wheel base panel van that I have fitted out with tool storage and swing lift to lift in bulk bags or the Jo Beau. It's a tough old truck and suited to home mechanics. It's low geared and a bit noisy but we'll suited to my local contacting. I've had problems in the past with the transfer box that has required some machining and parts replacement. The transfer box is a Borg Warner from USA and parts for this are available from America. For Iveco parts I use Zeppelin Trading. I would buy another

, there's nothing really in the same class for the money.
