International pallet shipping costs

Does anyone have a very rough idea what it costs to ship one pallet of goods to the UK from Europe? Specifically Cyprus. I will of course contact a shipping company eventually but right now I don't have exact details such as weight, collection address.

I sent a 150kg pallet to Italy, and it cost £120 plus VAT, if that helps

 

pallet dimensions of 1.2m L x 1m W x 0.75m H, 150kg, and the pallet being stackable

It is hugely variable, it might be worth contacting a European haulier. If they don't do Cyprus, in their contact base they maybe able to sort it.

We've shipped to Cyorus but I wouldn't get costs until Monday, there are so many variables though so may not be much use.

 

Edit: re variables, one recent shipment I've just found was £260 to Slovakia but that's for glass and alcohol which are right up there cost wise.

If you register on Uship and then post up your shipping requirements you will get about a dozen very competitive quotes from various logistic companies within a few hours. They are vetted by Uship.

That would depend on weather it went by air or sea. I can also tell you that the type of pallet being used is critical. Wrong type of pallet over to Europe or anywhere else and the pallet police can make your life as a shipper very sad.

I believe EU pallets should meet your needs.
