Oh come on chaps!!.... please don't expect me to ditch Arbtalk and become a total hermit pitched in a beautiful coppice woodland scenery, stirring with my rustically gourged spalted ash spoon before fine dining on coq-au-rabbit after a Shittake soup starter and finishing with a heavenly blackberry & apple crumble pudding drizzled with cream from Jersey cows, waking up to bird song before sharpening my Gransfors axe aside the trickling fine bone china cup sounds of the brooks little waterfalls.

errrr, actually, now you mention it!!

Ha! No Steve, it just that talking about giving up one form of social media on another (very similar) form of it is a little ironic.

Maybe the only answer is to do a Tony Croft and move to Bulgaria to become an off grid woodworker.

If you de activate your facebook can your pages still be seen? for instance a page for business thats linked to personal account?

If you de-activate you disappear BUT all you settings and friends remain hidden in cyber world till you re- activate so answer is NO.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
