Don't forget to change the sewerage to a valve system or the water will come up through the drains if it is higher outside than in.

 

Thanks, got a non return valve on order along with bolt down sealed chamber cover. Luckily the tanks where emptied on Christmas Eve otherwise it would have been real grim, especially as we have neighbours tanks in our garden and guy who emptied said neighbours was full. Lucky lucky lucky.

 

Found out today the Environment agency are scheduled to turn 10-12 main pumping station off in West Lancs by Sept 2017. :wtf

I posted a link a week ago on this thread about the pumping stations being turned off.

 

You people in these flood risk areas really need to get on top of your game before its to late.
