Anyone watch that film "Purge" on Film4 last night?

 

1 night each year all crime is legal so as to allow human nature to purge its "dark side" thus allowing 364 days of relative peace & harmony.

 

Doesn't add much to the original discussion question but it kind of picks up on the UK/US differences in opinion over wether guns are a force for good through self defence or a liability in raising the stakes.

 

Pretty rubbish film tbh!

No, but I did watch War of the Worlds the other night..... the common cold proved far more effective at eradicating the aliens than the guns. :thumbup:
