Yes I was going to say you where priced for the ps-420 :thumbup::thumbup:

 

I really do wish I'd gone for that as its about what I'm out of pocket so far :(

Yes, nice saw the 420,

 

I'd much prefer one of them over any similar priced Stihl or Husky any day & it ports rather well too!

Not really plasticy but the 171 hasn't any grunt. I've a friend who's got a 171 and it holds its tune, like a brick floats. Ok for pruning small stuff but not much else.

Hoping to look at some echos this weekend, are the 170/171 stihls pretty plasticky?

 

If you get a 171 for firewood you will be doing a lot of chain sharpening.
