My new boots arrived today 26 months after the last ones, the old ones feel like slippers compared to the new but they have to go. I know some have had bad expereiences with the haix trecker but they have been by far the best boots I have ever had.

They are great boots alright, but your old ones are in better nick than mine after about a year. Going to give the Stephen Blair 'Monarch of the Glen Red Chunky Special Editions' a go next, see how they fair.
