Looking at making a dining room table and benches, looking at yew and elm at the moment . The more rustic the better the width needs to be 80cm x 5cm thick width at least 2m , ideally I would like to have the top in one piece before I start thinking about two pieces. Kiln or air dried, and lots of pictures world be nice for customer to decide on timber and cost.

Interested in other choices too.

a fella in essex was milling and drying some elm.

some trees were about 3' wide.
