Bet that shiny pile cost a decent amount, I really want to work out how to splice the double rings like your blue set.

Should be able to do some complicated rigging with that lot.

Have you seen this pulley it's only 500g.

But can only be used with max 13mm rope and rated at 17kn so only real light duty really.

You can do a locking brummel at both ends it's just a little trickier to do, watch this and it'll show you,

how are you doing the taper on these splices?

i tried cutting the ends at an angle as suggested somwhere but didnt seem right, is it a case of removing strands?
