Started with the stock 14" Echo branded Tsumura bar but managed to track down a 12" Echo/Tsumura which is far more suitable. Chain brand is whatever I have to hand on a roll when making loops in 3/8 LP currently it is Oregon.

My 360TES sports the same setup as R Mac albeit in 14'' guise.

wondering the same really, it came with a 14" but i would like to swap to a 12".

is there much difference between and oregan or sugihara bar?? also where would i purchase an original echo bar??

The oregon bar is fine. Put the stihl full chisel chain on it

thanks. may well do as easier to source locally, that sthil full chisel is nice alright although someone mentioned to it tended to wreck his trouser leg when clipped to the harness?? ( more than micro chisel chains i guess)

Maybe just try the stihl semi , I'm sure it would still be better

12" .043 gauge makita bar, with oregon 90 chain, drop in gauge has made a huge difference in performance. Once my stock of 050 bars and oregon 91 chain is used up all my little echos will be on 043 for good.
