I'll probably get 30m or so of tach or blue T to have as a short rope Paul, my kern is 60m and that'll be a pain drt! Be nice if the BDB ran well on the blue T so I could use it for both on smaller trees and when it's dry

Coolio 👍 The zz is brand new, it's the rope that's well used, so all's good hopefully. I normally climb srt on the BDB but it's getting real jumpy when it's chucking it down, so thought i'd give the zz a dabble on wet days!

Wet days? well used.... I don't like the sound of that, only the other day I was reading that wet rope loses 70% of its strength or stopping power or what ever it was tryin to say..

Perhaps a visit to the LOLLer centre to check the rope..:thumbup1:

Zig zag works fine on 11mm. But as others have said it is less diameter than recommended by petzl so if anything went pear shaped your insurance would probably want to wriggle out of any settlement. I used mine on 11mm aeris with no issues but I'm back on 11.7 limelite now 'cos I don't think it's worth the risk.

When I say well used I just mean that there's a difference between a new rope and one that's a year or so old. The rope it's self is fine 👍
