emergency contact numbers

I thought it was only though mobile phone signal, so if you haven't got any sort of service across any of the network providers you can't use 112.

That's correct, although it will roam onto any network so you may get through even if your phone appears to have no signal. 999 and 112 are identical in the UK by the way, there's nothing special about 112 except it's a universal emergency number used across Europe.

Thanks for clearing that up, I always was told there is/was a difference in the connection type :thumbup1:

Thanks guys - ive added a couple of extra numbers in from your suggestions.

the comment regarding ice numbers and locked phone was one I hadn't thought of, though with them on the contact sheet - they're now available to all anyway

i think this is a good idea but shouldn't this stuff be in the site specific risk assessment anyway?

Not for me personally - I'd only normally expect to see contact numbers specific to the job (like the clients' number) on the ssra

these emergency numbers will be in the vehicle packs along the RA - so saving writing them in every time, and saving space on an RA which already takes up 2 sides of A4.

thanks again

Dean
