Tockmal - I believe that the NFU are competitive (as per some of the other posts on this thread however

I think you've got all of the major players.

(When I was looking around last year the only one I didnt try was the NFU) - I didnt know if it was a market that they insured in.

Lycetts (formerly Algarve)

Bryant and Kesick

Trust

Arbassure

Unless anyone knows differently?

I'm not calling anyone a liar, but I spoke to the NFU this week and they told me they don't offer tree surgery insurance, landscaping yes, but not arboriculture..

Call 01473 688466 and ask for Jane Hyde

Arbassure

Who are they and where are they based? Are they like Trust? cause I didn't get a good feeling for Trust, mind you I didn't get a good feeling about Camberford Law and I went with them kast year. Think I'll go for Algarve/Lycetts this year.

For those of you self-employed who have Employers Liability, when applying for ins quotes do you have to submit qualifications of all the subbies who work for you, or do you just say you want EL to cover (chainsaws use etc) based on your turnover and the max people working for you at any one time.

Some companies seem more specific in terms of info they want.

Tockmal - I believe that Arbassure are in some way associated with Norwich Union.

Trust insure via Lloyds syndicates.

I decided to go with Trust - as they only do arb insurance I think?!
