Obviously I watched it back in the day, so I'm watching the new series.

My verdict, more new bands,never heard of Foals or the Eagles of death metal or whatever they were called, but thought they were great, less Cheryl Cole, and older slebs selling stuff.

Loved the duet between Duran Duran and eagles of etc duet at the end.

Been hesitant to watch it as don't think they could recreate the feel of the original show and era. Can't beat tv from back then with the crap today

I've only watched the first episode of this new series and I have to say I thought they recreated the original very well. So many different programs have tried to copy it in some way and Evans and co have shown them all how it's (still) done
