I think they make things up as they go along anyway.

Husky 365 24" chain on their site (£24.19 for 2 chains).

Piranha Chains For Husqvarna Chainsaws

Ebay price for 2 24" husky 365 chains (£18.38).

GENUINE PIRANHA CHAINSAW SAW CHAIN *PACK OF 2* FITS HUSQVARNA 365 24" BAR | eBay

At first glance ebay sounds a better deal but when you look at the details you see the chain gauge is different (063 on the ebay one) making those chains completely useless. No point contacting them to ask them to sell you the correct chain as they don't reply to messages.

Does seem a bit odd that they publish quotes from & link to this thread as part of their advertising though as they have stopped posting on it themselves & the negative comments are monting up quite quickly now.

Piranha Becomes Rotatech Chainsaw Chains

Oh yes, just noticed that. They say:

"The reviews on Arbtalk are also positive" :confused1:

err, I think that should be:

"Some reviews on Arbtalk are positive but mostly negative"

cheers, steve

Got a couple of these for my husky 440e, I usually run Oregon semi chisel chains on this saw, but after a bit of reading saw that full chisel is best for the Larch and Scots pine that I cut.

Used one today and it stretched like a rubber band I think I had to tighten it 12 to 15 times, thank god the 440 has a tooless tensioner it was a pain. As for cutting didn't think they were as good as my regular semi chain.

They were cheap but I won't buy them again I'll stick to Oregon or Stihl chains in future.

I've bought 2 Piranah chains and each one has a pair of teeth on the same side

Not uncommon, many chains come like this. Its all down to the length bar you are ordering the chain for as they all differ across brands. Often they require an extra tooth
