If your near Saltex next week, there is another chance to see our brand new "QuadChip" woodchipper. 6x9 inch opening, brakes, turntable, under 750kgs with 34hp turbo diesel, awesome chipping capabilites, brilliant "throw", four sided straight edge blades and under £14,500 + vat. It can also be had with the Kubota 1505 engine if needed!

Also on display is our full range of machines including a pretty awesome stand showing a 1928 SafeTrac and the MultiTask on a good slope. I'll post pictures sometime next week if I can.

Is this the one with the turntable that was at Jonsies show in Kent last weekend??

If it is from what i saw it was a very very good machine, The weight is a massive bonus these days too :thumbup1:

if you look through the kentish tea party monkey d will be sure to have taken a pic, it is a cracking chipper, it is square and can turn 360 degrees, so the hopper can be right next to the back cape and the spout is always in the same place if you know what i mean. the rollers are side on, it was on the back of a 7.5tonner, and it was hitting the back board easily from what i saw

The "QuadChip" thingy is that instead of the traditional circular blades that GreenMech have been using exclusively for the last 15 years. This is fitted with two square blades giving you four cutting edges to use. We could also fit round blades to it if you prefer those. The term "Muts nuts" has been used when discussing its chipping capabilities!

The biggest selling point on the round blades is that they can be rotated to reveal a sharp edge, rather than having to swap blades for another set when the edge goes orf. The square blade still gives that option but is for those out there who think that "flat" edge blades are for them!
