Where do you buy your saw chain?

We are thinking of adding a new section and service to our website which currently is only enjoyed by visitors to our shop. We would like to extend this service to our internet order customers.

 

Question we are asking, where do you guys currently obtain your replacement saw chains (nothing too specific, just Website, Ebay etc), and do you use a postal sharpening service?

i buy a roll & get the dealer to make it up

dealer if im in a hurry, internet/ebay if i find a good deal or im ordering something else so will be paying the postage anyway

bought by the reel from either local saw shop or off internet

I have mine made up at local saw shop . As I get most of my stuff there he does me a really good deal and I mean a good deal .

Manage to get a very large stock of loops for all my current saws each APF. Seem to be cheaper per link than reel price:tongue_smilie:

 

Any new saws with different chains on from local dealer, but special, ie ripping chain from Net.

Buy reels and make them up myself.

 

Bought over the phone from a dealer miles away.

i get mine from a local dealer then if it is rong i can go back get it even cheaper and have a good moan at them
